Many of us look forward to hearing the national anthem played during sports events. It’s always intriguing to see who will be the voice behind it, particularly during important sporting events when celebrities are often brought in.

Nashville Predators fans have seen many great performances while attending their team’s games. The national anthem was beautifully sung at the ice rink by Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill.

The Nashville Predators were scheduled to face the Anaheim Ducks at Bridgestone Arena when Urban was named the singer to perform the national anthem that night.

It was Urban’s first time performing “The Star Spangled Banner” at an event.
